To access this exclusive space, kids age 3-10 literally slide down from the Grand Hall atrium into the check-in for the day. The different storylines that are offered via the video clips help to add a bit of re-ride-ability to this relatively short attraction. Without that change, most folks would likely ride it once and be on their way. We’ve seen a few different storylines in our rides onboard, including one taking place in an alpine ski village, and another during a scuba diving adventure. Our reviewers noted that while the Hyperspace Lounge was impressive, you might not feel like you have to go back every night… many travelers will probably enjoy it as more of a one-off experience once on their cruise. Two of our reviewers had also experienced the Galactic Starcruiser on land at Walt Disney World, and couldn’t help but draw comparisons to that location’s Sublight Lounge.
Our Review of Spa and Salon Services Onboard the Disney Wish
With its original class of ships, Disney introduced "magic" portholes in interior staterooms, fireworks celebrations at sea, paintings that "move," rotational dining rooms that transform and four age-specific kids clubs where children actually want to spend time. Compared to other cruise ships, there isn’t one big main pool per se, but rather several smaller ones located on different decks. The Toy Story Splash Zone is a hit for little swimmers, while parents can relax in peace in the adult Quiet Cove pool. Life vests are also available to borrow — and in all pools, you may wear goggles but swim masks that cover your nose or mouth are not allowed. Modeled after the Incredibles movie, this indoor sports arena features basketball courts, table tennis, foosball, and air hockey, as well as an inflatable obstacle course! When the Hero Zone isn’t decked out as a training ground, they are all for you to enjoy.
Shipboard entertainment options - Fun and Sport
Menu offerings are rather limited, with a focus on artisanal quality rather than broad quantity. Compared to staterooms on earlier ships, we were happy to notice larger televisions — but with less of an ability to “articulate” them to face toward where you are sitting. And there’s a new drawer-style refrigerator, which is perfectly fine for cans of soda, but may or may not be convenient for other items you’re chilling. A cruise on the Disney Wish is a magical experience that will create lasting memories for the entire family. While there is plenty of Disney pixie dust for the fans, from character meet-and-greets to movie screenings and themed parties, Disney Wish is also suitable for those interested in a more traditional cruising experience. Little ones can book their own treatment by a fairy godmother at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – for shimmering makeup, facepaint, or hairstyling.

Design
The adults-only spaces on Disney Wish are not clustered together in one area like they are on Disney's other ships. Instead, they are sprinkled throughout, with several located right next door to a kids club. Connecting both of these luxe dining options is The Rose, a lounge that offers wine, small bites and other adult-focused items designed for pre- or post-dinner enjoyment. Guests onboard join Captain Minnie, Captain Mickey, and other favorite Disney Characters on a multidimensional search for the magic across storybook worlds. You might spot Moana, Nemo, Princess Tiana, Peter Pan, and others through your “enchanted spyglass” (which looks suspiciously like your mobile device).
Room Service on Disney Wish
The upscale salon is inspired by Captain Hook’s private quarters aboard the Jolly Roger from Disney’s Peter Pan. Guests 21 and older can also enjoy a hidden bar featuring the finest whiskies, bourbon, and rum — with drinks served during treatments and during select special events. Thanks to open houses throughout the voyage, our crew spent probably more time than they’d like to admit playing along with the intergalactic adventures and super hero battles.
it’s a small world nursery!

Like on all Disney ships, passenger staterooms by sizes are ranked among the industry's largest standard cabins, designed to easily accommodate four people. Cabins are with ample storage space, lounge/living area and split bathrooms (1 room with shower-bathtub-sink-WC, and separate toilet-sink). Each cabin has as standard amenities 2 mirrored vanities with chairs, 22-inch smart HDTV (satellite reception, infotainment system), iPod docking station, 2 rechargeable "Wave Phones" (for shipwide use). Concierge Staterooms - Disney storytelling soars to new heights inside these rooms that feature a premium level of service. Stay in a Tangled-inspired cabin, or rest in one of 7 special The Little Mermaid-themed spaces featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that look out to sea. Multiple themed spaces bursting with Disney storytelling and packed with fun-filled activities hosted by specially trained counsellors await children inside Disney's Oceaneer Club aboard the Disney Wish.
AquaMouse - The adventures of Mickey and friends will be brought to life like never before on AquaMouse - the first-ever Disney attraction at sea. Complete with show scenes, lighting and special effects, this first-of-its-kind water ride will send you on a fun family adventure through 760 feet of winding tubes providing breath-taking views of the ocean, before splashing down into a lazy river. There are 53 Concierge Class staterooms that include additional perks and access to the wonderful forward-facing Concierge Lounge enclave on Deck 12. A total of 23 Concierge Suites represent the most lavish seagoing luxury aboard Disney Wish, including the massive two-level Concierge Tower Suite inset within the ship's forward (dummy) funnel.
There are more of them on Disney Wish than you'll find on the other Disney ships, and they are spread out, so you have a better chance of finding one that is tucked away and less crowded. If you've sailed on Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy, you've likely experienced the AquaDuck waterslide. Some sailings in Fall and Winter will be themed as Halloween on the High Seas or Very Merrytime Cruises.
Disney Uncharted Adventure
In a pure stroke of genius, Disney added a fun, unconventional way for kids to enter the Oceaneer Club. After checking into the kids club from the Grand Hall on Deck 3, children can zip down a magical slide that takes them straight into the space on Deck 2. This food is vastly better than the pool deck food I've had on other Disney ships, so be sure to save time for at least one meal out on the deck. A meal at Palo will start at around $45 per person, though that's for the set menu. Meals at Enchanté cost $125 per person for the set menu or you can order a la carte dishes.
This restaurant offers a dining experience steeped in the golden age of Hollywood. Named after the year the Disney brothers founded their first studio, you’ll enjoy the flavors of California while surrounded by relics reminiscent of the early days of animation. You’ll be seated in either the Walt Disney section or the Roy Disney section, but no matter which you’re assigned to, you’re in for a feast for the eyes and the stomach.

Instead, this adventure for the whole family takes you all around the ship as you complete parts of the quest. Using your spyglass, you'll see menu boards transform into messages from Princess Tiana, you'll find "hidden" constellations in the sky and perhaps even bring the glass slipper to life in the Grand Hall. And at the teen club, Vibe, the decor draws inspiration from a Parisian loft, offering lots of spots to lounge, watch movies, meet new people and play games. In Deck 5's tween club, Edge, kids can hang out in a New York City-inspired loft space with a faux-grass picnic area, photo walls and an entrance hidden behind a framed piece of art. These restaurants and the adjacent lounge are absolutely gorgeous, and the food ranks as some of the best I've ever had ...
The creation of Disney Wish embodies this forward progress by charting its own path with a new style for staterooms, all-new restaurants, a different layout, additional pools, new ways to unlock "hidden magic" and more. Those who participate in the Uncharted Adventure game will have the ability to unlock a hidden layer of magic all around the ship. This will all conclude with a big finale on the last night of your cruise when you help battle the evilest witch in the sea in an epic live event.
For grown-ups wanting to get their Star Wars fix, Hyperspace Lounge is a great spot. This adult-exclusive lounge features exotic drinks along with a starfield view out the window thanks to some video technology reminiscent of that used in Skyline onboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. You might even notice a few familiar spaceships jetting by the windows, in between the hyperspace jumps. At night, Marceline Market transforms into an alternative option for those not interested in dining at their assigned rotational dining restaurant (especially popular for folks who don’t want to observe a semi-formal or formal night on longer cruises). During dinner, the restaurant provides a table service experience with entrees made to order (still included in the cost of your cruise). One of the best parts about traveling on Disney Cruise Line is rotational dining – a concept that remains exclusive to the fleet — which means you’ll only eat at each of the three dining halls once during your 3-night trip.
Also new for the DCL fleet are the "quick food" bars "Marceline Market" and "Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods". DCL's innovative Inside Cabin features (industry's first) "Magical Portholes" - large, round-shaped LCD screens (positioned above the beds) projecting real-time outside views provided by the ship's cameras. Every cruise ship needs a Godmother - the Disney Dream's is Jennifer Hudson and the Disney Fantasy's Mariah Carey. Without question, Disney Wish is in a class of its own for Disney Cruise Line — at least, until the next two ships join the fleet in the coming years.
During a June 2018 Port Canaveral meeting, it was mentioned a third Disney Cruise ship would homeport at Port Canaveral beginning January 2022. Then, during the 2019 D23 Expo, Bob Chapek announced the ship will be named the Disney Wish. The Rose - Sip a cocktail surrounded by antique mirrors and floating rose petals at this elegant, adult-exclusive lounge reminiscent of the enchanted castle from Beauty and the Beast. The Walt Disney Theatre - Sit back and get lost in Broadway-style live shows - including Disney's Aladdin - a Musical Spectacular plus 2 all-new, original productions. Disney Wish is the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line family, having first set sail in Summer 2022.
