Compared to other cruise ships, there isn’t one big main pool per se, but rather several smaller ones located on different decks. The Toy Story Splash Zone is a hit for little swimmers, while parents can relax in peace in the adult Quiet Cove pool. Life vests are also available to borrow — and in all pools, you may wear goggles but swim masks that cover your nose or mouth are not allowed. Modeled after the Incredibles movie, this indoor sports arena features basketball courts, table tennis, foosball, and air hockey, as well as an inflatable obstacle course! When the Hero Zone isn’t decked out as a training ground, they are all for you to enjoy.

Menu offerings are rather limited, with a focus on artisanal quality rather than broad quantity. Compared to staterooms on earlier ships, we were happy to notice larger televisions — but with less of an ability to “articulate” them to face toward where you are sitting. This food is vastly better than the pool deck food I've had on other Disney ships, so be sure to save time for at least one meal out on the deck.
